Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired Whale Roofing to repair a leak in our tile roof in Delray Beach, and I can't recommend them enough. After collecting quotes from several companies in the area, Whale stood out from the very first visit: they were the only company that actually got into the attic to inspect the problem from the inside, instead of just looking at the roof from above.

That thoroughness showed in everything they did. They found the real cause of the leak — a failed gooseneck vent — explained every detail before quoting, and gave us the most reasonable price we received, by a good margin. And the price they quoted is the price we paid: no extras, no surprises, no upsell, even though the job included replacing rotted wood.

Afterwards, Jacob, their VP, personally walked me through every item they had done. Honest diagnosis, fair price, quality work, and a company that stands behind every word: if you have a roof leak in South Florida, make sure Whale is one of the companies you call.

Gutter FAQs

What type of gutters do you recommend?

For most South Florida homes, seamless aluminum gutters are our top recommendation thanks to their durability, low maintenance needs, and strong value for the cost. Homeowners looking for a premium, long-lasting option often choose copper for its exceptional durability and the natural patina it develops over time. We’ll recommend the best fit based on your home’s architecture, budget, and how much rainfall your property typically handles.

How long does gutter installation take?

Most residential gutter installations are completed in a single day, depending on the size of your home and the complexity of the system. Seamless gutters are custom-fabricated on-site to fit your home’s exact measurements, which allows for a clean, precise installation without the seams that create weak points in sectional gutter systems. We’ll give you a specific timeline during your free estimate.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

We recommend cleaning your gutters at least twice a year, with additional cleanings after major storms or during periods of heavy leaf and debris fall. In South Florida, gutters can accumulate debris quickly given our year-round vegetation and frequent storms, so homes with significant tree coverage nearby may benefit from more frequent cleaning. Clogged gutters are one of the most common causes of water damage to fascia, foundations, and landscaping.

Do you install gutter guards?

Yes. We install premium leaf guard systems designed to keep leaves and debris out while allowing water to flow freely, which significantly reduces clogs, overflow, and the need for frequent manual cleaning. Leaf guards are a smart investment for homes surrounded by trees or in areas with heavy seasonal debris, and they help protect the lifespan of your gutter system overall.

What warranty do you offer?

Our gutter installations include both a manufacturer’s material warranty and our own labor warranty, covering you for the materials and the quality of the installation. Warranty terms vary depending on the gutter material and system you choose — aluminum, copper, K-style, or half-round — and we’ll provide the full written details as part of your estimate.
